One of the perks of being a South Asian bride is that you get dressed in jewels literally from head to toe — from hair pieces to anklets. Just as a South Asian bridal trousseau is meant to accentuate a woman’s beauty in the most elegant way possible, the jewelry further helps enhance the trousseau itself. We paired the ivory and yellow lengha shown below with white, yellow and lime green jewelry featuring pale craspedia, berries, pendants, and semi-precious stones. These jewels mimic a garland-like necklace, traditional headpiece, and simple armband. We completed the look with a waistlet of berries and semi-precious stones.
