When you kick off a wedding weekend with the bar set high, you’re essentially signing up to outdo yourself with each subsequent event. Such was the sweet dilemma for Sapna and TJ’s Garba, following their Mehndi night. Although Sapna and TJ were the bride and groom, the spotlight was on another couple in the room. Statues of two beloved Hindu deities, Radha and Krishna, stood front and center underneath a fanned out panel of multicolored “canopy.” This aerial centerpiece was further adorned with string lights and Rajasthani danglers, hanging bells and matkas. Some other interesting elements included in the room were the colorful favor carts, and a table adorned with an eclectic mix of centerpieces such as, lanterns, candles, flowers and fuchsia and orange colored elephants.
