Although Puja and Deepak’s wedding ceremony was originally planned to be outdoors, the Mandap and decor easily worked just as well indoors when the weather didn’t permit. We used a four pillar Mandap in a round formation, and opted to place it on the ground instead of a stage to create a more intimate setting. The white Mandap, against the white backdrop was accented with fuchsia, orange and gold chiffon curtains draped around the periphery of the columns, along with long strands of hot pink orchids. A matching beam of roses, tulips and hydrangeas were hoisted on top of the Mandap. The Mandap was further embellished with ivory fan-draped chiffon panels. We topped off the look with our signature floral paisleys design on the aisle leading up to the Mandap, juxtapositioned by six elephants with large florals elevated on top.
