When we first met the then-bride-to-be, Murti, for our consultation, we were taken aback by her stunning beauty (as I’m sure her now-husband, Ashish, was when they first met at the University of Florida). I mean, just look at her. So when she asked us to design custom floral jewelry for her Raas/Garba, we were elated yet nervous. Elated for obvious reasons, but nervous, why you ask? How does our jewelry stand a chance to stand out against her? Well, here was our earnest attempt.
We draped her outfit’s duppata with an eternal band of blush berries and white pearls, accentuated with velvet beads, cinched at the hip and shoulder with a bright bouquet of multi-colored roses to match her gorgeous dress. I think you’ll agree that roses look better on a beautiful bride than they do in a glass vase 😉
