One of the obvious perks of being wedding decorators in Florida is that a good portion of the weddings we design are on the beach. In such instances, we take full advantage of the great outdoors and use the sparkling ocean as our au natural backdrop. Not in this case though — Crystal and Eric were married beachside at Highlands Beach in Florida, but the blue ocean isn’t what stole the show.
We opted for understated elegance so kept the colors minimal and complementary. The ocean, peeking through the drapes, provided the right amount of blue, which matched the blue flowers strung against the back of the mandap, and weaved into the floral bouquets. The all-white tent, the white mandap, the white satin curtains, the white wedding aisle, the white flowers all needed a pop of color which is exactly what the yellow curtains and flowers provided. The crystal chandeliers, crystal strands and silver vases added the right amount of elegance for this intimate wedding.
