On February 9th, 2012 Anisha & Harvinder celebrated their Sangeet at the Bonnet House Estate Museum & Gardens in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The venue, a natural conservation and historic space, has so much to offer with its paintings, ceiling murals and courtyard. Within the past couple of years, such settings are becoming some of the most popular wedding venues, we’ve seen.
The evening began with a cocktail hour in the the central courtyard, showcasing the beautiful garden, water fountain and market lights (designed by Kaleidescope) glistening in the trees. The guests later entered a Moroccan inspired tent which was was completely transformed into a space of hundreds of feet of multi-colored drapes and a beautiful tent liner. Enhancing the ambiance of an outdoor Sangeet, was a backdrop of tall palm trees illuminated with Fuchsia and Orange uplights. Different lounge style furniture groupings designated different seating areas creating a very informal and casual ambiance. A&H’s seating area was designed under a built-out which showcased different Moroccan elements and drapes hanging from the ceiling stretching out to the poles, creating a canopy over them.
Gaciel Santana is phenomenal! There are only a handful of photographer’s we use to capture details of our work, who’s names you constantly see on our blog, and I am so happy to announce Gaciel Santana Photography has joined that small list. I met Gaciel through Smita & Amit’s Wedding, and although she wasn’t the official photographer for that event, she has been discovered in my books. I absolutely LOVE her style of shooting because she knows how to capture vivid colors and details. Enjoy my first post of her work…and many more to follow 🙂
