Ami and Sagir not only have a taste for the finer things in life (as you will soon see in our subsequent blog posts highlighting their wedding and reception), but they also have a sweet tooth. And as a wedding decorator, those are the two key ingredients for concocting a delectable dessert lounge. Our theme was simple: divinely delicious golden treats. All of the decor was so carefully crafted and seamlessly integrated with the dessert, that frankly, I’m a little surprised no one tried to eat the candlesticks. Just kidding.
While it only took moments for this entire table to be cleared up (I’m salivating just over the photos alone – imagine how the guests must have felt), it took us over seven hours to design the entire lounge. We delicately hand placed each cupcake, cookie, fruit, cup of kheer and ras malaai so it looked as delicious as it tasted. But we didn’t just stop there; we gave the guests something for the road with cake pops placed inside handmade red favor boxes.
Not a detail was missed – from the matching favor boxes and the place settings, to the centerpieces. This is what you call having your cake and eating it too. And a happy bride and groom? Well, that’s just icing 🙂
